The Standard

Every piece that comes through our doors carries a history worth preserving.

For more than four decades, our shop has been a quiet refuge for furniture with a past: heirlooms loosened by time, finishes dulled by a century of living. We return them to their original character without erasing the hands that built them.

When the work calls for something new, we build it from scratch in quarter sawn oak, mahogany, and walnut. Joinery cut to last generations, not seasons. The same bench, the same patience, the same standard, whether we are restoring history or building it.

Questions, Answered

What services do you offer?

Two disciplines from one bench: authentic antique furniture restoration, and custom cabinetry built from scratch in fine and exotic woods such as quarter sawn oak, mahogany, and walnut.

Where are you located, and which areas do you serve?

Our workshop is at 18122 Boyette Road in Lithia, Florida. We work with clients throughout the greater Tampa Bay area, including Riverview, Brandon, Valrico, FishHawk, Apollo Beach, Gibsonton, and Tampa.

What kinds of pieces do you restore?

Heirloom and antique furniture of all kinds, from tables, chairs, and desks to bookcases and carved cabinets. We re-glue, repair, and refinish each piece while preserving its original character, patina, and joinery.

Do you build custom furniture and cabinetry?

Yes. When a project calls for something new, we build custom cabinetry and furniture from scratch in quarter sawn oak, mahogany, walnut, and other fine woods, with joinery cut to last generations.

How long have you been in business?

We have been restoring and building fine furniture by hand for more than four decades.

Do you have set hours, or do you work by appointment?

We work by appointment rather than fixed walk-in hours. Call or send a message and we will arrange a time that works for you and your piece.

How do I request a quote?

Tell us about your piece using the contact form on this page, or call (813) 681‑9328 with a short description. We typically respond within one to two business days.
